About Us
We are a family living in central PA. I have been doing woodwork since my junior high school days back in the early 70's. My stepdad has his BS in Industrial Arts.

I am the founder of Austin Woodworks as a means of supplementing my income as a registered nurse. My daughter is getting ready to head off to college soon and everyone knows how expensive that can be. I also took this venture on because of friends asking me to build things for them. They inspired me to make items for them and I considered it a nice challenge of my abilities. It turned out to be a win/win situation for all.
I am a graduate of Milton High School in Milton, PA. Class of 1979. I went to a few colleges over the years and eventually graduated from the Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing in 1992. My specialties include dialysis and surgical services. My range of jobs is quite lengthy from truck driving to security. I rarely allow myself to fall into that job rut thing and since I am multi-talented, I can learn just about anything.
I have been married to just one woman since 1985 and we have a great relationship. She treats me like a king and usually I don't deserve it. Our children are young adults now and they help me in the shop whenever they can. The family would not be complete without our zoo...2 cats.

Company history
We started our family run business in November of 2006. It was our love of handmade woodwork started by Harold Walter of Winfield, PA, who married my mother many years ago. He has taught me a lot over the years and I acknowledge his expertise as a master craftsman and my mentor. Currently, I do all my projects from memory and skill. As the projects become more complicated, I will start using blueprints. My projects have been pagan based but I can build anything. I produce items for rituals, wall hangings, portraits and small furniture items.
Customer testimonials
What do my customers have to say? A customer from VA wrote me the other day. She tells me she has been secretly saving up money for a project that she wants only me to do. A celtic cross with knots. She only trusts me to do the work and price was no object. She is getting the 30" cross soon. And I know she will love it.
